1. Juicing
With the fast paced lives that we live in today's society, it's hard to keep track of the fresh fruits and vegetables that we're consuming on a daily basis. That's why I am such a huge fan of juicing!
Some benefits of juicing include; increased intake of vitamins and minerals, increased energy, boosts immunity, aid in weight loss, and so much more!
Here's some of my favorite fruits and vegetables for juicing:
Carrots: These are a staple for almost all my juice recipes. They are a great source of beta-carotene, fiber, vitamin K, and potassium. Carrots also have been linked to lower cholesterol and improved vision.
Apples: When apples are juiced, their hydrating quality is maximized. Apples are also rich in vitamins A, B-12, C, and D. Adding apples to any juice can help improve the flavor of your juice.
Kale: Low in calories, powerful anti-oxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, and helpful for several different types of autoimmune diseases. While it's not my favorite tasting thing to juice, it's incredibly healing.
Spinach: Easy to digest, packed with vitamins, includes anti-cancerous properties, and is one of the healthiest foods in the world.
Cucumber: Mostly made of of water, an incredible detoxifier and helps support liver and kidney function.
Here's one of my favorite healing juice recipes:
- 7-10 carrots
- 2 Apples
- 2 Cucumbers
Anytime I drink this juice I immediately feel an incredible boost of energy and feel hydrated. You could also add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to give it a little kick. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
2. Smoothies
I love my daily smoothie! Smoothies are full of important nutrients and incredible flavor. When you blend your fruits and veggies you'll preserve the fiber when compared to juicing. This can deliver an extra boost of vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.
Here's My favorite Recipe:
- Cup of wild blue berries
- Cup of cherries
- Cup of raspberries
- 2 bananas
- Teaspoon of meca powder
- Teaspoon of chia seeds
This drink only takes about 4 minutes to make and is super delicious!
3. Wholefood Multivitamins
Sometimes we don't have enough time in the day to prepare our meals. The next best thing is making sure you have a quality multivitamin supplement that you can take.
We created our Life's Vitality Wholefood Multivitamin just for that purpose. We included a high potency blend of vitamins and minerals, along with a complete food based complex that includes over 42 different fruits and vegetables.
Some of those ingredients include spirulina, chlorella, and wheat grass! We also included powerful antioxidants such as grape seed, red raspberry, green tea and more.
If you're tight on time and want to give your body the support it deserves, give Life's Vitality a try! It's a great alternative for those who can't get their nutrition from other means.
